Bred Co is a micro bakery in Albany, Western Australia making quality sourdough from locally grown and milled grain. Bred Co sources the grain from farmers in and around the region and mill the grain on-site in their own flour mill. By keeping the growing, milling and baking all in the Great Southern they are able to make a product that tastes singularly of the region. They sell a big range of breads and pastries at the market and their bakery and they work with the producers to use what's in season to showcase the abundance of our region.
redgum Hill Orchard
Redgum Hill Orchard is a family operated orchard that was established in 1912. For 108 years it was in the care of the Sounness family until April, 2020 when ownership transferred to the Mather family. The orchard is busy all year. Autumn harvest is built around apples and pears. The varieties of apples being produced include Royal Gala, Red and Golden Delicious, Granny Smith, Pink Lady, Lady Williams, Sundowners, Fuji and Blushing Gold. The pear varieties are Packhams, Beurre Bosc, Josephine and Nashis. In late Spring/ early Summer the stone fruit pick begins and continues until the end of Summer. Cherries are the first stone fruit to be picked and they are usually available until Christmas. These are followed by nectarines, apricots, peaches and plums.
Piacun Farms
The Piacun family are passionate about regenerative agriculture and good food, and work hard to produce food that their customers love. They grow a wide variety of vegetables and also sell eggs and flowers at they Albany Farmers Market on a Saturday Morning.
Bathgate Farms
Bathgate Farm is a family business owned by Jocelyn and Andrew Bathgate. The Bathgates commenced farming in 2006 after settling in the Cuthbert area, located about 10km outside the centre of Albany. They grow a varied range of vegetable and salad lines with a focus on quality, including some not readily available in grocery shops and supermarkets. They farm using methods that minimise the impact on the environment by limiting the use of pesticides and using practices that improve soil health. Bathgate Farm also specialise in growing potatoes and are uniquely placed to provide new potato varieties to market customers before they are available to the broader public. As stallholders at Albany Farmers Market, the Bathgates enjoy the chance to connect directly with their customers and meet people who share their interest in good food.
Mosterts
We are a family farm, owned by Dirk and Harma Mostert with children Clint and Danni working alongside. Our farm is situated on South Coast Highway, halfway between Albany and Denmark. We have a hydroponic system in which we grow oakleaf lettuce, cos lettuce, coriander, mustard, mizuna, swiss chard, pac choi, tatsoi, watercress, rocket and spinach all year round. Then in the summer and autumn months we also grow basil. We also make salad mixes with some of thesei tems and have these available at the Albany Farmers Market. We pride ourselves on quality, freshness and continuity of produce.
Futari Wagyu
In Japanese, Futari means ‘two people’ after Two People’s Bay on the pristine south coast of Western Australia, where around 1,500 full blood Japanese Black Wagyu cattle are raised on our family farm. This name perfectly captures our approach – a blend of traditional Japanese farming practices, with the latest Australian agricultural innovations in a pristine environment.

With a focus on sustainability and local produce, this wholefood refillery and scoop and weigh shop has a plethora of spices fruits, nuts and flour, confectionery and gourmet treasures.

With a focus on, but not limited to: logo design, branding, packaging, publication, illustration, merchandise, event promotion, marketing material, signage & way-finding.
